Car rental

ill be renting a Honda Odyssey for the weekend. Ayah's cousin, Cik Noh's daughter is getting married. Cik Noh and Ayah are really close. so it was very obvious that there is no missing this wedding. by the way, Ayah's cousin stays in JB. i am pretty nervous driving up because i have never been there and i will be driving an 8 seater to a foreign country. thankfully, Cik Man and Kak Nani will be going too, so we will be in a convoy.

when i rent a car, Ibu and me will plan on activities to do, places to go and errands to run. having our own transport temporarily makes things easier. definitely we have to fully maximise the car.

today i will be picking Ayah from work, then send or pick up Shid from her friend's birthday celebration. tomorrow we will at JB and i already have plans lined up for Sunday and Monday.

as i was running through the plans in my head earlier, i could not help but think of him. in this very turbulent 8 months, he Always have been supportive of the idea of me renting the car for the family. he even lent me his when he was away for work last year. he complimented me bringing not just my direct family members out, my relatives, friends and even students.

i could not help but to cry thinking this. i remember there was a time when someone else questioned my spending money on the car rental for my family. he said it was a waste of money. i dont know if he was being plain mean and insensitive or he thought better for me. but whatever it was, it hurt me and i will remember it.

i am just glad that i still have the time and money to do this with my family. Ibu always remind me to be thankful to Allah for all of this. with His blessings, i have the skill to drive, the ability to earn money to spend and the time for my family. i am thankful.
