my busy weekend has ended 12 hours ago. and now my body is aching. my ears were ringing from all those whistle blows. my shoulders and back are throbbing. my stomach is aching too. my knee is hurting because of the tackle i did. i need a spa session.

so it started on saturday morning. met the kids in bus service 855 and headed to macritchie. everyone was supposed to have 2, 1.5L of water in their bags. after a short briefing and warm ups, we all 27 of us started our trek. we took the yellow trail. its about 11km long and we took about 3 hours to complete. the trail was rocky and there were minor slopes. actually i was terrified of going down slope. it was slippery and i kept thinking of falling. like what i told the kids, its not purely a physical game, its also a mind game. i need to block out the thought of falling.

i was so happy when i saw the zig zag bridge. the kids cooled down and after a de-brief, we fell out. took the bus back with some of the kids. got home, took a shower and ate some rice before taking a nap.

woke up feeling hungry again! but had to make my way to the east side to go for the match against arion. i managed to actually eat abit of mee goreng at bedok before going to the school. i forgot to bring my knee guard and elly didnt bring her tape. luckily az brought her bandage and she wrapped my knee up. THANKS AZ! i was kinda nervous because it seemed like forever that i didnt kick a ball. (no thanks to that postponed match last week!)

we did great in the first half. only 3 down compared to our first game where about 5 goals came within the first 45 minutes. final scored was 6-1!

rushed back and slept after eating tom yam noodles.

SUNDAY! i could not go to the street soccer tourney cos i kinda signed up to a refereeing gig over at the east side. took the circle line and walked across carpark F. i got the whole kit: top, bottom, cards and a whistle! was waiting very anxiously while the opening ceremony was going on. finally 11am came and i blew the whistle. not before i briefed the players on the Basics. n by basics i meant: "ok guys! this time u score this side! next half u score the other side! dont u forget tt ok!" guess how old these guys are?

the last game was very exciting. my adrenaline was pumping and the match was really close. the final score line was 4-3. the little guys were very determined.

had a de-brief, collected my cash and headed to kranji. shid was waiting for me there. after the body stopped producing adrenaline, my body realised that its actually very hungry. i blocked that out and endured that long journey to kranji and then city square.

changed the $300 SGD to RM. bought 2 bottles of parfum cos i stank. went to davidson to collect my glasses. i got a pair marasata titanium frames. i tried it on and it was a little loose so the sales guy adjusted it. it fit great and off we went to secret recipe. quickly decided on the cakes and wrote what we needed to be written on the cakes. went to sushi king for a late lunch!

after that, we collected our cakes and proceeded to FOS. shid wanted to get slippers but none were to our liking. instead we bought socks and a striped hooded top which was on sale. walked all the way to the customs and there was a long queue for the bus back to woodlands.

when we got to woodlands, it was jammed. had to queue for quite long before it was our turn to scan our passports. after that, we took 950 to causeway point before taking a cab back to home sweet home.

most of them were already there. ofcourse the person i looked forward to was Ariqah. she has grown taller and bigger!! oh! n STRONGER. she was like this little tyrant pushing around people. but she was real smart and she listens if we give her instructions.

there were tons of food! i loved wak mah's spaghetti! it was authentic for a typical singaporean housewife. hahaha!

sunny came too! yup! bibik brought her latest addition along! he was very curious running around the house. we cut the cakes and everyone loved it. (i think!)

after they left, i took a cold shower, helped the oldies cleaned up. and went to SLEEP!

that was the end of my busy weekend. my body is aching and i need to buy some antiseptic lotion for my knee. will be off to yew tee cc for a briefing in the evening.
