so, it seemed that none of you guessed it right. on Tuesday, I met Dr Jimmy. I thought I was never going to see him ever again. I bet he knows I have a HUGE ASS crush on him because I cannot stop grinning when I talk to him. for the past 2 days, my jaw has been aching everytime I told my colleagues about him because I will be smiling so widely. I shall not elaborate on the details of the consultation. just know that it was the longest session ever and I have not been that happy for a long time. HAH.
anyway, after doing an ultrasound and an xray, he still could not determine the cause of the swelling. he said it might be bursitis but he could not confirm it. so he told me to book a rehab session.
physiotherapist could not determine cause of swelling too. after another round of ultrasound and a muscle test, she decided that we tried the taping treatment. she said that the tape will 'lift' the skin and hopefully, by gravity, the swelling will subside. personally, it sounded a lil outrageous. but, I like the colour blue, the tape looks cool and I guess I should try anything. it has been painful going up and down the stairs at school.
ANDD!!! as I was leaving the treatment room, guess who hobbled in. yes, it's Dr Jimmy again! he was going for his treatment too. he suffered the same predicament as me. just 6 days ago he had a recon! gosh, i was smiling my silly smile again when I saw him. physiotherapists totally did not help, teasing him, saying me and him should join an 'ACL brotherhood'.
well, another physio session next week. we'll see how it goes. despite the niggling pain in my knee, i am happy these 3 days. thanks Doc! see you again real sooooooon!!!
