started the week with the NPS bbq at ECP on tuesday. it was fun but it was quite unfortunate that we had to work the very next day. even though it was a short week, it was still hectic. the B boys had their first match, i started with my logistical duties, planned a lesson (for real), went to NUS for training, and even saw the aftermath of a freak accident at the school plaza.
amazing how i managed to visit certain places too. jalan kayu for dinner, labrador park for a stroll, browsing at bugis street and a 'trek' to the singapore river.
so after thursday, not much improvement in the club soccer area. very very few people came to NUS and our 2 foreign 'imports' swiftly decided that they will play for other clubs.
i was feeling a wee bit disappointed, especially after that short period of time that she was trying to rally players. how can someone give up on something so quickly? i admit im not doing much to save this situation. just because i have been through this ever since i was i poly. i just want to play ball. preferbably with the same set of people.
yanti asked me and yani if we want to play for them for the isa league. i was pleasantly surprised initially. though it took me Hours to decide, i guess i've got nothing to lose and told her im in.
even if that means missing out on Sab's invitation for a CNY gathering at her place. lol.
let's hope ill have a fun time in the evening. i want to.
