Steps on how to paint walls.

1) Clean walls. Dust of any dirt and wash away stains, wherever possible.
2) Mend walls. Cover cracks and holes with putty or plaster.
3) Cover sides of power points/switches with tape. Tape edges if necessary.
4) Prime or white wash. Dry.
5) Paint around power points and edges first. Use light strokes.
6) Roll away.
7) Dry for at least 1 hr before doing (did i just type doing, it should be painting) another coat.
