and so i fell sick. i guess it was just too much sun for me to handle. actually i thought it was not tt bad. slight fever, cough and running nose. the doc gave me 2 days MC, of course, i graciously accepted it.

missed the C boys match and the CNY cum Valentines' Day celebration in school. ive yet to know who's my Bon Bon Buddy. Christine said its a he. He left a flower shaped pen on my desk last tuesday. sweet. and, apparently he left me something else. il noe who he is come wednesday. sooo exciting.

and! i bought something cool from ikea for my Other BBB. hope She will like it!

anyway! i rented a friend's car yesterday! a suzuki swift sports edition (M). (M) means manual. and oh-my-gosh did i suck yesterday! driving a manual car after a long time of not stepping on a clutch, in a jam, is every girls worst nightmare!! i was not sure of when to change the gears, i was revving too much and i got a little lost. thank God nothing happened, my family (and the car which does not belong to me!) got home in one piece.

1st up, we went to bukit panjang. my aunt wants leftover plactic flowers. hah. made our way to ikea at alexandra. mother wanted to get clothes hanger. but i ended up paying 100 buckaroos for other things that included caviar and cacti. had a lil problem exiting. the cashier gave me this card that entitled me to free parking. i had no idea i had to insert it into the machine! i thought i had to insert it in the IU. thankfully the guy in the car behind was a nice guy, he actually went out and helped me with it.

n that's where the nightmare began. 1840hrs. peak hour jam! but somehow, managed to pick the dad up at exactly 1900hrs at chinatown point. headed to the railway station for dinner. i thought everyone was exhausted while having dinner because it was nerve wrecking for them while i was driving. HAHA!

aqilah wanted to go bck straight. but, y not we go to the dam!! i mean, seriously, the only time the family could go there to enjoy the breeze is when i rent a car. i gladly brought them to dam via seletar. i was so happy hearing them so happy looking out the window. spent about 20mins enjoying the wind.

dropped the adults and the little kid home. drove shid to her friend's place for awhile and then there was a Massive jam at chong pang! the queue to the carpark was snaking!

=======================INTERMISSION=======================

saturday! woke up late! i was contemplating on whether i should even drive to jcc. i drove anyway. i got lost at clementi-toh guan area. followed my gut feeling and made turns after turns. i guess i now know how Grace feels when she felt ****ing lost in bedok a few weeks back. never felt so glad to see that Akira building at Jurong East! the return trip home was easier. i remembered there was a moment where i even hit 100km/h! gosh.

next up! VIVO! i offered to send shiddeedoodadaayy and her work pals to the forementioned place. i had petrol and time to spare, so yeah. we went by the longest terowong in Asia, the KPE. and i went bck, the 855 way.

got home and played Pet Society before sending back the car to Punggol. zoomed up the SLE and TPE into Edgefield Plains. went up 186 or was it 168 and parked the car at berth 4B!!!!! my parking has improved so much thanks to my !superb! control and the fact that the size of the car is SMALL!(anyone wants to donate a small car to me?!? i dont mind any make, any year!!)

then! it was my first time on the PUNGGOL LRT! i was so excited! i was truly awed by the vast amount of undeveloped land Singapore has. i mean, its not much.. but, yeah.. its not everyday i see so much plain fields and so much construction going on at the same time. it was like i was in a different, new country. 85-ed all the way back to yishun.

tmr is valentine's day (and CNY). i kinda have a blind date. sort of. zalina has planned a picnic for us. and the catch is, i have no idea who else is coming! i just noe i need to buy bread to mke sandwiches in the mrng. il b bringing aqilah along. so yeah, i hope il have real fun!
