reo: what's dory?
me: nemo's stepmother.
christine: hah?? no!
me: well, it didn't show in the movie, but im sure marlin marries dory.
reo: oh i know! it's that ellen degeneres (only that! reo pronounced her name as something else!)
me, christine and suria: HAHAHAHAHHAHA
me: it's ellen degeneres!
reo: edmund! help me, don't just keep quiet!
edmund continues keeping quiet, waiting very patiently for his mee goreng.
somehow the conversation become tense after ellen degeneres was mentioned. you guys can probably guess what we started to talk about.
anyway, here are some riddles:
1) where do dogs go to get their tails replaced?
2) what's the ultimate ambition for the gay astronaut?
3) what word, after adding more letters becomes smaller?
and!
HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SISTER WHO IS TALLER THAN ME, BIGGER AND SCARIER. HAHAHA.
i have some advice for you,
if you ever have a boyfriend, treat him like how you treat your tamagotchi these past few nights. ! it is SITI SAYDAH's (dah! like how Din spells it!) eighteenth birthday!
haha. yeah. n but don't neglect him like how u neglected ur tamagotchi earlier, then it died and you had to restart it. boyfriends don't restart.
ok? ok.
all the best.

its like everytime we go to a different lecture venue, we have to get lost. we literally climbed a hill up to the NTU Alumni Club. come to think of it, i was not sure why we were even there in the first place because in the time table it stated, One North. anyway! i sweated buckets! at 8.45am.
so managed to find my class. for me, the first part of the day was very 'dry'. things picked up after lunch, but ofcourse, only after that first hour when the stomach digests the food and made everyone really sleepy.
class ended at 5pm and made my way back home.
shidah bought some kinda korean rice cake thingy and she was very excited for us to try it immediately. guess what happened? oj choked on it, and was trying so hard to cough it out. it was a very chaotic 15mins. i thought ibu handled the situation interestingly. i guess i should learn to be more firm and exhaust all ideas and means before giving in to oj and decide to call the doctor or something.
hah.
damn oj's small teeth and huge tonsils. she chokes on her food every 2 days. well, almost.
ok. i did not just type that. oh. i guess i did.
these are just one of the many challenges faced with a child with Downs'.
things were fine after that. oj drank the whole cup of blackcurrant tea with shid's coaxing. before dinner, the bro actually helped oj with her homework. ibu cooked while gossiping.
i don't say this but i love sofi, i love shida, i love oj, i love ibu and i love ayah.

- Patrick Swayze. 18 August 1952 – 14 September 2009
- Keith Floyd. 28 December 1943 - 14 September 2009
I don't really remember Swayze because he wasnt exactly the actor of 'my times'. Saw him guest starring in Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights though.
I definitely can relate to Keith Floyd. His shows despite being reruns from the 80s still airs on Discovery Travel and Living (ch 16). He was always enjoyable to watch because his cook shows are never, and i mean NEVER, in a studio. He was always in somebody else's kitchen, some garden, the beach, on a ship in a mild storm, etc. Sometimes though, because of his eccentric hosting and cooking ways, it does get to a point where it was annoying to watch his shows. LOL.
RIP.
on a lighter note, 4 days down on our first module of the AED course. our last lecturer was a really fun guy. very young yet very knowledgeable. and my group members are an interesting lot. i am kinda excited about this friday's presentation.
oh! and mr kong came all the way to the NEC to meet us just for a little while. he must have been that bored. (chung ang ah.. if ur reading this, HI!) found out he could read and write jawi! how cool is that??
and since tomorrow is an off day, i hope i can catch a movie. any. but then, there's training (right?) and also chips to deliver. oh dang, i need to top up my bbdc account too.
oh well, il sleep. we'll see how tomorrow is. good night ladies and gents.

i was reading some golf magazine while waiting for my practical test just now. came across this article about Tiger Woods having his knee surgery. he had the same problem too! tear of the anterior cruciate ligament. but he was enduring the pain for more than ten years. he had far more complications other than his ligament. he injured his meniscus, his other ligaments and even a stress fracture of his tibia. or rather, his shin.
well, that was just for your information. not that you were interested. right?
hah. so anyway, i got 32 points for my practical test. i think that's quite decent for a first timer. i was so nervous my hands turned really cold. i flunked my first course. i was on the second gear going into the S course. argh. i kept telling myself not to repeat those stupid mistakes.
well. i got 6 more weeks till my next chance.
tomorrow i shall be heading up north to get hari raya kuehs with the parents and oj. yeah. can't stay out too late because i will be going to school on monday!
// fast, noisy and hot blue thing

well.... i am having my holidays this week. the highlight of this week is:
SATURDAY!
don't ask me what's on saturday, i'll tell you about it on saturday evening ok.
last week, monday was teachers' day celebration in school. i mentioned that in my last post didnt i. the movie, the proposal made me interested in, the 'midnight sun'. it only occurs during the summer months in country located in the northen hemisphere. namely, Norway, Alaska, Russia, Canada, Denmark etc. go wiki it.
tues, me, the sissies and mother went to compass point to get plastic flowers and then breaking fast at banquet. i hate it that they are using styrofoam utensils.
friday was the last week for me in NBSS in 2009. love 3/2 boys were really lovely. they expressed their gratitude openly during my last class with them. i was also selected for the EV interview. it was, let's say, interesting.
had golf course at JCC, 11.15am and 3pm. the sun was scorching and i was tanned. spent the whole day at JCC with chris and wani.
sunday, woke up and jus camped myself infront of the tv. watched shows after shows. when it was time to get ready for my match i was watching disney channel. after seeing demi levato on the trailer of princess protection plan, i went to the toilet, grabbed a scissors and cut off my fringe. yup.
SAS! the girls played SUPERB in the first half. we held them to a goalless draw. after half time, somehow titi and conceded a penalty. everyone was scrambling and i was told to warm up. i entered and attempted to play my best. i was still very terrifed to fight for the ball because of my frigging knee. but anyhu.. after a mean freekick by titi, their goal keeper spilled the ball infront of yan who blasted the ball into the net. YAN! our super sub. like rad mentioned, it reminded some of us about Umai's performance last year at rp.
and yesterday, me and christine went to NIE and NTU. it was fortunate that we came early because we were lost. and, thank GOd for cheryl lai whom we bumped into at NIE, she directed us to LT1A. so during the briefing, we were given our timetables for our course beginning next week, and ending on december. frankly they made it sound quite scary, but im sure it will be a fun experience. cant wait!
oh wow! guess what? shidah's finally up. we are going to go to the library. enjoy the pictorial!

ACES was actually FUN! I seriously don't mind doing it at least once a week.
I received several gifts from the school and students. I was especially touched by the gift from Choy Kheng.
The concert was really entertaining. Didn't know the love 3-2 boys could play instruments.
Next up was The Proposal. Movie was really romantic and funny. The theatre was filled with students and teachers. Next movie to watch will be The Time Traveller's Wife.
YUP! Nitey nite.
