channel newsasia was showing a show called 'the bubble boy'. i recalled having watched a movie with the same name. anyway, i didnt get to see the whole show cos my mum wanted to watch narnia.

i managed to press the green button to read the 'about' of the programme, and caught the name, 'David Vetter'.

wiki-ed his name and there i hv it. in summary, David was intentionally born so that scientists can have a go in finding a cure that he and his deceased older brother has,severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID). basically his immune system is ZERO. staff at the texas hospital made a 'bubble' for him to live in.
he lived in that bubble for his whole thirteen years.

i saw the starting of LOTR on ch 5 earlier just now. it seems really interesting.. but i didnt continue watching it. i felt that i wud enjoy it and i didnt want feel tt way.

it wud b too late rite? cos EVERYONE else thinks tt it is (interesting). and if i change my mind now, it wud b so wrong.

a few years ago when d movie was released, i didnt catch it at d theatres. ayah got a pirated cd frm jb and i eagerly watched it. aftr just half an hr, i stopped the cd bcos d quality was so bad i didnt understand a thing tt was going on. i then decided that LOTR was a bad movie.

im so mean.

in d months to come, when im free and have nothing else to do, il rent the book(s).


now, i hv to get bck to wat i hv been doing for d past 20minutes. untying a knot. the string in my soccer shorts.

been staying up to watch the euro cup finals matches. holland beating the azuris 3-0 was a thumper. it was an entertaining match to stay up for. tonite its another match from the group of death. france vs italy. im supporting neither but i hope it will b another blockbuster.

next wednesday im already booked to watch 'the happening'. another one of m. night shyamalan's horrors. the last i watched was the village, which was rili intriging. hope he keeps up his gd wrk.

novita's last day at jelita was wednesday. she's transferred to united square due to the huge shifting of staff. hah. im so gona miss her. she's one of d reasons y im stil ard in for so long in this place. cant wait for d karaoke session.

hey you guys. here's a summary for the past week.

monday 2/6: went to NSRCC early in the mrng to hv d shirley trng. (dere's a special name for d trng, but i cant rmb wat. so il name it aftr d instructor) i was supposed to go on wednesday but i wil b assisting a fieldtrip.

tuesday 3/6: work. had a big class for my usually small 5pm slot. aftr tt, took 75 to outram before taking a volkswagon cab to kembangan. 4 miserable girls came, n we had dinner.

wednesday 4/6: reached NSRCC early to get ready for d fieldtrip wif kinderland. i was incharge of group b. they were a gd bunch of kids. at d end of it, we had a telematch and my team won all d rounds! after d kids left, i had lunch wif jerie. left NS to hv a date.

thursday 5/6: woke up late. stayed online d whole mrng, looked through old picture cds. n den watched mohabattein and den jump in. started raining, oj said i shudnt go for trng. but ofcos i did. i came late.
we ran a different route dis time, cm was leading, cos cj had his boys' trng. aftr d run, we had wat seems to be a million sets of various distances, sprinting up d hill. i got a lil woozy aftr tt. we ended up wif 3 sets of 20 sit ups n supermans.
cm had a talk, den cj came to end d speech. changed n headed to adam rd for dinner.

friday 6/6: he picked me up! tts a first! haha. went for lunch n den headed to wrk. i had a new kid at d 5pm class. finished my class before heading to padang to c d match. aftr d match, we had snacks at SCC. n i saw ravin! haha.

saturday 7/6: didnt have outdoors at JCC. so was rili early at JLT. worked. blabla. aftr wrk, sue dropped me off at clementi. i needed to get passport sized photos for d registration for d league. got myself a bossini straight cut black pants. shid asked me wat i needed it for. i duno.
oh! i called starhub to sign up for d euro 08 channel! hah.

sunday 8/6: worked. left a lil to head to woodlands. ofcos, d kenduri has ended. its great to c u almost everyone. =)
aftr awhile, went bck. me n oj hitched a ride in cik zul's car. was on youtube d whole night, watching and singing along to disney songs. hah.

oh! probably u all heard it last wk tt dere was a fire at a factory in woodlands. d factory was dealing wif essential oils and such. so, my bro d firefighter was dere to help put out d fire.. his uniform was somehow soaked wif d oils. after washing his uniform, on friday and saturday, d whole house smelled like somebody sprayed 20 sprays of air freshener. im not kidding. d smell was musky, plus lots of berries. madness!

and. ofcos, euro cup 08 kicked off on saturday mrng. i watched d portugal vs turkey match. went to slp aftr pepe scored d first goal.
before coming to wrk, i watched highlights of d germany vs poland game. 2-0 to d germans. i was wondering y d podolski guy didnt look rili happy after scoring both goals. found out tt he was born in poland.

on monday i went to the national stadium to watch the singapore vs uzbekistan match. it was the most annoying live match ever because i tink lionel lewis is gettin too big headed PLUS there was dis young man who sat behind me, giving his gf a very unnecessary commentary of the match. he talked like he knew everything, but he didnt! he got the substituition all wrong! wen he said to his gf, "shahril ishak is substituted la by tt no 11! wth. raddy shudnt do tt!" actually alexander duric was the one who got subbed, n i went under my breath ( a little too loudly i guess), "sembarang je.." den he realised his mistake and admitted to his gf.
